Giacomo Maria Baravelli

Giacomo joined Ohana as a Public Affairs Intern in the Transparency & Supply Chain team in September 2026. Prior to joining Ohana, he was a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission working on transport policy and gaining first-hand insight into EU policymaking and institutional processes. He also has experience at a consulting firm, where his role included policy analysis and stakeholder engagement.

At Ohana, Giacomo supports the team’s work on EU sustainability and supply chain policy, responsible sourcing, and regulatory developments affecting the agri-food sector. He contributes to policy monitoring, research and analysis, helping translate an evolving regulatory landscape into clear and actionable insights for clients.

Outside of work, Giacomo enjoys playing chess, reading and going for long walks.
